Job Title: Outside Advertising Sales Supervisor

Job Classification and Salary:

1-$1125.00 2-$1175.00

Basic Functions and Responsibilities:

Maintain select high level accounts as the assigned Account Manager. Assist sales staff as needed in management of other accounts. Provide account coverage in the absence of assigned sales staff (vacation, etc). Provide general division management coverage in absence of Sales Manager . Assist in development of rate and other incentive programs designed to grow revenue. Help manage category forecasting and other financial reporting. Work with Sales Development and other company management in the coordination and implementation of new procedures and systems in regards to their effect on sales division.
Assists manager in determining goal & liability assignment. Assist, implement and track goals per Account Executives on high profile initiatives and sections such as travel show, A&E Weekend, Fall Arts Preview, themed editions. Assist Sales Staff in the coordination of Print/Digital cross media campaigns.
Assist in introducing new projects to the team developed by SDMs. Work with manager to coordinate better synergies between departments including account redeployment and cross selling. Work on opportunities to better develop cross selling into major amuse and travel initiatives. Assist in monitoring the deliverables and tracking of day to day accounts and sections. Other responsibilities as assigned by Sales Manager and/or Sales Director.

Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree Preferred
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proven track record driving print and digital revenue
Expertise in the Travel Amuse categories
Proficiency in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
