Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
To design pages, sections of pages, and individual graphic elements in conjunction with editors from individual editorial departments. Weekend and night work may be required. This position will focus on infographics for Bostonglobe.com and Boston.com, as well as the Globe.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate ability to discuss content with editors; read stories involved in assignments; request photos and work with photographers during photo sessions; assign illustrations and design pages; design charts and maps; other tasks related to the above.
