Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate ability to edit copy for, among other things, errors in content, form, logic, syntax, punctuation; combine elements of several stories into one as the occasion requires; write headlines, precedes and quotes and occasionally, photo captions; do non-repetitive computer commands; other tasks related to the above, which may include occasional layout and makeup. This position will handle most of the magazine’s Boston.com functions, in addition to the traditional print copy-editing duties.
