Qualifications:
5+ years as a successful, consultative account executive with proven skills in solutions selling across multimedia platforms. Demonstrated track record of new business development and understanding of product branding and sales cycle execution. Proven experience using creative sales solutions and presentations that address audiences at many levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills and discipline to function in a satellite office, develop good relationships with corporate office peers, managers and support staff.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
Sales responsibility for key clients and ad agencies within several General Advertising categories, such as travel, financial, high tech, packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and publishing. The successful candidate would be expected to increase revenues from existing advertisers and grow the account base through new business sales by utilizing BGM print and digital products and services to connect solutions with advertisers’ needs. Must be able to persuade advertisers and ad agency personnel of the importance of Boston market and of the BGM value proposition to deliver results.
