Qualifications: Ability to effectively lead a sales team and support the implementation of sales strategy. Ability to collaborate across categories and departments. Ability to set sales goals and help reps achieve. Ability to think strategically and execute on tactical initiatives. BS/BA degree preferred. Demonstrated success in outside sales. Strong Internet knowledge. Comfort and familiarity with CRM systems. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to teach these skills.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Supervise and support sales activities within the assigned category, including day-to-day supervision of outside sales representatives. Support day-to-day coaching initiatives including accompanying individual salespersons on sales calls and presentations. Act as liaison with product development team on all matters relating to the website. Participate in sales forecasting and planning processes. Ensure sales tracking systems are appropriately maintained and updated. Maintain a book of business and achieve individual sales goals.
