Qualifications: Requires 3+ years of outside sales experience in print, radio, real estate, or online sales. Applicant must have demonstrated track record of new business development, consultative sales history, understanding of company branding and sales cycle execution. Proven experience using creative sales solutions and presentations that address audiences at many level. Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Selling a range of online advertising products and services to real estate clients. These individuals will have responsibility for increasing revenues from existing accounts as well as growing additional account base for their assigned category. Utilize strategic selling techniques, execute sales calls to realty office, bring closure to long sales cycle clients and manage accounts to secure the highest level of customer service. New business development is a must as is being creative at developing sales solutions and presentation. Must be skilled at selling across all brands/products of Boston Globe Media.
