Qualifications: Previous sales experience necessary. Previous newspaper and/or greater Boston media market experience a plus. Highly organized and self-motivated. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required. Ability to compose presentations. Must be able to work in a group environment and be a self-starter.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for increasing revenues from existing accounts, as well as search out new accounts. Utilize strategic selling techniques, execute sales calls, bring closure to sales and manage accounts with detail and proficiency. Work with other departments to develop new ideas for clients using a broad range of advertising products and services.
