Qualifications: Previous sales experience necessary. Previous newspaper and/or Greater Boston media market experience a plus. Highly organized and self-motivated. Must be able to work in a group environment and be a self-starter. Demonstrate a track record of new business development, consultative sales history, understanding of company branding and sales cycles execution. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required. Ability to compose presentations.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for aggressively selling a broad range of advertising products and services to advertising clients and for increasing revenues from existing accounts. Utilize strategic selling techniques, execute sales calls, bring closure to sales calls, bring closure to sales and manage accounts with detail and proficiency.
