Qualifications: Ability to understand client needs and objectives; to understand media research tools and how to effectively use them. Strong analytic skills. Ability to meet graphic design demands of presentation deck development including Photoshop, DreamWeaver, MapInfo and PowerPoint. Ability to write advertising copy and to deliver oral presentations to internal and external clients. Must be highly motivated and agile. Ability and desire to create turn-key presentations and collateral that meets the high standards of Boston Globe Media. Bachelors degree required.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities: Understanding and using customer needs assessments to create convincing solution-driven sales presentations and other support materials for our sales teams. Ensuring client solutions and deliverables meet client and colleague expectations and deadlines. Processing, analyzing and interpreting market and audience data to aid our understanding of ourselves, our clients and our competitors. Understanding market and industry trends and using this knowledge to inform client solutions and recommendations. Creating and presenting competitive assessments, high level summaries, white papers and memos to colleagues and management team. Understanding of BGM product and pricing picture.
