Article XV: Definitions of Non-employees
- Correspondents (occasionally referred to as stringers): are those persons who are on retainer and may be subject to assignment and who do not regularly utilize Globe desk space, PCs/VDTs or other equipment and services used by Globe staffers.
- Special to the Globe Free Lance: are those persons who are independent contractors paid on a per-piece basis and who do not regularly utilize Globe desk space, PCs/VDTs or other equipment and services used by Globe staffers.
